Blanck Mass says : “Crime 101 was an incredible movie to have the opportunity to score. At the centre of the story is, of course, the heist. However, it very quickly became apparent to me that this was not just any heist movie, but more a Noir which happens to have a heist in it. The central characters and how their lives become intertwined was more important than the action, in a way. This is high-octane in parts, of course, but what really drew me to this movie was the character development. Lou, Davis and Sharon are the beating heart. I wanted to 'be with them sonically’ throughout. Both the tender and the furious needed to be sympathetic with one another.”

February '22 the story of the infamous Unabomber Ted Kaczynski received its theatrical debut in a new Tony Stone directed film, Ted K. Kaczynski is notorious for both tragically murdering three people (and wounding an additional 23) via bombs sent in the mail and for his numerous writings on the evils of technology he composed during his primitive residency in the woods of Montana. Stone’s choice to have the renowned electronic artist Blanck Mass score the film is somewhat ironic and creates an obvious tension perfect for the controversial and complex subject matter.
